CULTURE

As a district we believe that culture is the foundation to learning a foreign language. Students need to understand the culture in order to comprehend how the language developed and how it can change from country to country. Our units are based around the culture of Spanish-speaking countries. Our lessons revolve around the culture. When students understand the culture they become more engaged in the language, and in turn, are more successful in the language.
